Strange Days In October
My friend Etienne is teaching me the chords to a famous French song about friendship. He is seated at his desk playing the lead and humming the melody while I stand and stare at the chords on his lap top and try and keep time...

Fannin Street
I never believed in hell on earth until I set foot in that mall. I bought two Woody Guthrie CD’s, I would of bought a vinyl record but they were all too expensive...

Last Night Of The Neons

A sheet of black water
Impaled by a pier
Staring across at the melting lights
We four, assembled here
A place of a million people
Silent through the night
Now we simply stand
No anxiety forces us to take flight
Cold dark water
What does the future hold?
Will we stay true to ourselves?
Or let our hearts be sold?

And now we walk back
Away from the void into the light
But I will never forget
Our adventures through the night
